The Semi-Finalists

The following teams have the opportunity to reach the famous FA Cup Final and fans will be hoping they can make it. Here is a brief run down on the teams.

Manchester United

Jose Mourinho is under pressure to win a trophy this season having lost the title race against rivals Man City and lost at home to Sevilla in the Champions League. With players like Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Martial, Rashford, Lingaard, the Manchester United squad is one of the best in Europe, however they have failed to find the form that fans are used to. Can now be the turning point in the season where they show the world how good they are.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur have been playing their home games in Wembley Stadium for the previous season whilst White Hart Lane is being refurbished. With this Tottenham will be favourites to win the tournament but must beat Manchester United first to reach the final.

Chelsea

Chelsea will be favourites to win the semi final when they play Southampton in the other game. However new Southampton manager Mark Hughes will keen to get to the final after the Saints have had a difficult time this season. This is has been a mixed season for Chelsea having not been competitive in the Premier League and being beaten comfortably by FC Barcelona. With this, the Blues will see this competition as a way to get success this season. Antonio Conte has been under fire for some less than impressive performances and will be trying to keep his job come the summer. However Conte is reportedly becoming the new Italian national manager after they failed to qualify for the World Cup. With this there is a possibility these could be the last Chelsea matches for the Italian.

Southampton

Mark Hughes has only taken charge of The Saints 2 weeks ago and whilst his biggest challenge and main aim is to remain in the Premier League reaching the FA Cup Final in May would be a great achievement for the team. Southampton FC will take thousands of fans to Wembley and should they reach the finale they expect ticket prices to be high.
